Episode 60: Laws of Good Game Mastering
- Grumpy says "Laws of Good Game Mastering" reminds him of "On War,"
- Acererak suggests invading Russia,
- Grumpy disagrees,
- "Laws" has nice chapters, each of which covers a separate issues,
- The book is decent and recommended reading for beginners,
- however it is also excessively optimistic about what goes on at a game table,
- The book gets a 15 on a d20 roll,
- Acererak nearly makes Grumpy cry.

Episode 59: Record of the Lodoss War
- Marmo is a popular destination,
- Grumpy explain anime to Acererek,
- Grumpy faces rejection from others interested in anime,
- Lodoss War is possibly unique in terms of gamer media,
- It holds up pretty well, for being a 20+ year old anime,
- It suffers when it stop being a kind of anime-actual play production and tries to be a standard fantasy production,
- Record of the Lodoss War gets a 15 on a d20 roll,
- Grumpy is responsible for turning Marmo into a tourist destination.
